With retailers across the land trying to tempt
customers into their showrooms to stock up on sofas, white goods
and carpets before the end of the year, the message to ‘beat the
VAT rise’ has never been clearer.
But if you call into a Northern Motors’
showroom between now and the end of November, there’ll be no VAT at
all to worry about…
That’s because Vauxhall and Northern Motors
will cover the 15 per cent equivalent to the VAT cost of any new
car, provided it is registered before the end of 2009.
Northern Motors’ Sales Director, Darren
Barratt, said: “We are delighted to support Vauxhall’s new customer
initiative. Customers will be aware that VAT will be going up
again as of January 1st and, with this offer, anyone
buying a new Vauxhall car would have the opportunity to avoid
paying it altogether. A customer will be able to save over
£4000 on selected Vauxhall models!”
